What qualifications are required to become an Expert on Ask A to Z?
All Experts on Ask A to Z are established professionals in their respective fields. Each applicant undergoes a thorough verification process conducted by an independent third-party firm. Verification confirms a combination of education, professional credentials, licenses, or substantial employment or business ownership experience relevant to the applicant’s area of expertise.
How long does the application process take?
The review process typically takes:
- 4–7 days for applicants located in the United States or Canada
- 2–4 weeks for applicants outside North America

We accept Experts in the following categories:

How will I be notified if I’m approved?
You will receive an email notification once your application has been reviewed and approved.
Are there scheduled shifts?
No. There are no required shifts. Experts set their own schedules and can answer questions anytime — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How do Experts receive payment?
Experts are paid monthly through Hyperwallet. Available payment methods include:

- PayPal
- Venmo (U.S. only)
Do I choose which questions to answer?
Yes. You decide which questions you want to respond to and are paid for the questions you answer.
